Whenever I see this film I get inspired by its meaning, as it tells us that there is no hope to be damaged, I have never seen a film which from time to time I see and get inspired more and more. I just feel like there are more films like it which could be seen, I want to get like this film, it is an inspiring which makes me believe that I have a voice in which I can speak, give my opinion, even to fight inside of me in a way which is quiet that no one knows, to fight to get my rights, even if I get hurt, but to fight. It doesn't have to be a fight in a war, but a fight inside which sometimes I get damaged in life, but this film heals my damage, it makes me want to do something better, to make life better. Like what Mrs Erin did, she first used the old method of teaching without knowing what is going on, till she realised of what is going on, which made her change her way of teaching, to make those students a great students, to live in a home, to be loved, she fought silently. She never took a gun with her to say that they have to do what she wants.NO!
She just changed her ways of teaching into a better way, she helped the students to stand up and talk of what they want to say. To let their voice to be heard, and feel free to what they have in mind.
She didn't like to be racist, she wanted to teach them as equal, from all kinds of color whom she taught she taught them equally. She never gave up of teaching, no matter what happened, no she stood on her two feet, to teach and try to make the students like to come to school, to make them want to study, which she accomplished. I envy her of what she did, normally you would see a teacher who teaches only for the sake of teaching, and not to provide a good teaching way to make the student want to teach, just to say that they have taught the students and nothing else.
In the other hand students are not taking the information if the way of reaching the information wasn't the way which they want, in these days, if you see, most of the students will want to leave drop, because of the way of teaching which makes them take the information in a hard way, which is no use for this generation, the students want to play, to have some entertainment, it is like to take a small child who has started to eat and give him food by force, what will the child do?
Definitely the child will refuse to eat if you give him/her normally, you will have to make sounds, change the routine of giving food so that the child will smile and you put the food in the mouth. With the students it is the same, you will need to change the way, so that the student will eat the information in a way which he/she will be happy, and you as a teacher will be happy that a student wants to learn, wants to come to school to learn, and not skip school.
I don't mean that you will have to make a very easy exam so that the student will pass, no, make the exam paper normally, but when you teach, teach it in a way which it will not be very complicated for the student to eat the information. As there are some students who have difficulty in some studies, but can't talk because they are forced to take these subjects, then if it is like that, try to make it in a simple way to reach the information, so that the student can understand the chapter, and won't have difficulty.
Also some students won't talk that they have difficulty, because of the rest they will be laughing at them because they ask stupid questions to complete their understanding, which makes them don't really want to know because of some of the students who laugh when they ask about these informations, they would be needing to take in a way which makes it easier for them to undersand. Not every student can understand the teachers teaching in one way, every student needs a way to understand, needs a way to clear their doubts.
But all I wanted to say in the end that, I really like to watch this movie, to heal my damage of the fight. To show to people that I still can stand up on my feet even when I am hurt, even if I have lost somethings, but this movie of what I see of the other students who are acting there, they make me feel like my damages are nothing to their damage, they have more damage and they still survive. They still have the courage to complete their life, while I cry that I can't, that I am scared to complete, I am scared to face most of the fights in my life.
